WHAT IS 'ENRICHMENT' DOG CAMP?
Enrichment dog camp engages their senses and challenges each dog mentally while using purposeful play to encourage physical activity and mimic behaviors that their ancestors would do in the wild. This type of training camp will help to satisfy their physical and mental needs to ensure every dog lives their very best life and humans know their dogs are safe while getting on with their lives.
DOES MY DOG NEED TO BE VACCINATED?
Yes, all dogs attending camp must be fully vaccinated and on a flea/tick, heartworm preventative. We require proof of vaccinations for Bordetella, DHPP (distemper/parvo), Rabies and Influenza; while Lepto is not required we do strongly recommend.
WHY SHOULD I BRING MY DOG TO CAMP?
Do you want to increase your bond but have a full time job or just a busy daily routine? Tails in the Palms was created for you! Our camp is designed to identify how your dog is feeling and provide positive reinforcement training exercises so your dog can live its best life in a safe, fun, stimulating environment to give you peace of mind and increase your bond.
WHY IS SOCIAL INTERACTION IMPORTANT FOR MY DOG?
Dogs are highly social animals! Groups of dogs can stabilize and bring out the best in each other as they learn how to be a dog (i.e. proper play, impulse control, and cooperation) from other dogs! Our trained staff carefully monitors each dog alone and in groups to create conditions where the need for social grouping can be fulfilled.
DO YOU OFFER OTHER SERVICES BESIDES DAY CAMP?
Yes! We currently offer puppy day camp, non sedate teeth cleaning, and a modified spa day for your small pup (doggie baths, ear cleaning, massages) with more coming soon!
